Oil lines needed when turboing 2.8 hilux

Post by Turboln106r »

I know one has to go the the sump or altenator or something, can you use the 2lt surf sump on a 3l, does it fit, does it have the lines needed.

This is the only thing i dont quite understand about turboing as im lookng to do it myself to keep costs down

On mine I had a fitting welded onto the 3l sump to take the oil return from the turbo.

The 2lt sump i am pretty sure is all bare with no fittings, just like any normal sump

One Tee's off the back of the alternator and the return Tee's into the side of the block below the Alternator from memory.
