helmet mic and speakers

Post by Fieldsy »

Does anybody know where I can buy a helmet with a radio head set built into it? Or do people put speakers and the mike on a normal helmet. I have seen some drivers with what looked like this set up in comps. How did you set up yours?

Try a bike shop that has alot of accessory type stuff. As they have set ups for intercoms and cb's etc.
I have a handsfree for my handhelds (well it would be if I could get the vox to work). Which is just an ear piece with a built in mic. The mic works on the vibrations along you jaw to work. The ear piece is the size of one of those personnal hands free you can get for your moible phone.
Which has a wire to a control box which then goes to to the handheld.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....
