Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the GU rear calipers are a bolt on to GQ/ Maverick.
I have upgraded the fronts and i need to fix rears as the pin that locates them is a bit worn. Do GU's have a slightly larger rear disc??
Cheers

GU rear calipers
Re: GU rear calipers
I have a feeling that on GU's, the front rotors are 300mm and the rears are 305mm, although the fronts are thicker. I think.... I'm sure i've read that somewhere.DA22LE wrote:Hi,

Was just looking for brake pins for a GQ rear, and was told by a brake place that GU and GQ pins and sleeves are not interchangable...
Get on the Pootrol forum and PM gary / Nizzbits, he'll check part numbers and interchangability.
Sorry for the late reply. I picked up the calipers second hand for around the 170 mark i think. $100 for the seal kit each side roughly. Slotted rotors were about $100 each....Add labour on top of that, unless your doing it yourself......pongo wrote:what sort of coin did you shell out for the setup. AM intrested in doing the same. Did you have to upgrade the master cyl as well?DA22LE wrote:Hey,
I have GQ EFI twin pots, and slotted rotors. Yes they fit with 15 inch wheels......
