You mean the circlip that holds the freewheel hub mechanism... ? They must be the most frustrating little mongrel part ever made.

um no the circlip that goes on the end of the axle inside the cv to stop the axle sliding out of the cv

If you run this clip with longs and break a inner axle off at the cv end of it then you will have fun trying to get the broken bit out
The fitting instructions say to do the tac weld on the axle and not to reuse the c clip

the new longs don`t have the ring welded so you can get the star out but still do the mar tac to save the 3 member

I martacked it and yes I got two stickers!
And the best bit is they only cost me $200 for the pair brand new!

Jesus! I miss type one number and the longfield police track you down! $300 Aus.
$120 each US dollars,
$240 for the pair US Dollars.
Exchnage rate was up at 80cents when I bought em, so it was a killer deal!

martac is like bluetac but better
nah really its a small tack weld on the end of the axle so they dont slide into the center as there is nothing to home them into the cv
