Snorkle for an NL escape

Post by Guy »

NL escape snorkle, I seem to get the airfilter we a bit on the paj, and the air path to it looks appaling.
Is it possible to fit a NH or NJ snorkle to it ?.

Safari do not list a snorkle for it, but from what I can see the guard and airbox look identicle ..

Can anyone help with confirm that one will fit .. happy to much about a bit to get it one there, so long as it doesnt look like a bodge job.

I like the plastic ones .. not really interested in a tube and elbow type.

Pretty sure the NH /NJ will fit. Basically the Escape is the same as the earlier models with a few bits and peices and a 3.5.

Don't the NL escapes have an extra "bulge" in the gaurd like the GLS? If so the NH-NK won't fit as the gaurds are flat. Will have a look at work tomorrow to see if airtec do one if you like.

Mine are very flat ... will get some pics to compare .. but if airtec make one that would be great.. I am a bolt on bandit these days ..

Ok so after recent floods and wet air filters .. I have decided to bit the bullet and go for it ..

BUT

I have heard that the 80 series crusier snorkle is also an option .. I am happy to do some modding .. to the inner workings if this is a better option as far as flow goes .. the crusier unit looks substantially larger cross section wise.
