some turkey brained idiot

Post by christover1 »

Some turkey fixed and cleaned mud from his brakes on Monday, only to find they were no better? So on Tuesday he re checked his work, only to find he had refitted the faulty self-adjuster he had removed..d'oh. he will throw out faulty bits in future...this is not the end of story, during checking of brakes, he locked off the rear brakes with a clamp (vice grips) . He drove to Monbulk, very happy with new brakes, but on way home some motorist was waving his arms around pointing to rear of car(he was speaking but I, oops I mean he cant hear that well). guess what he found upon inspection, your right, rear brakes still clamped with vice grips..der fred.
so off for another test drive, brakes were fine, much better in fact :)
