Hilux centre, teeth numbers compared to ratios?

Post by Zookified »

Hey outers wheelers,

Quick beer fueled question....

Recently have bought some diffs for spares. I have pulled them down and grabbed the hubs and cv's for spares. I have the centers out, which I have been told may be 4.8's. My question is how many teeth does the crown whel on a 4.8 diff have, and how many does a standard factory hilux 2.8 diesel diff run?

Cheers!

39 & 8= 4.88
41 & 9= 4.56
43 &10= 4.3
