got a ln65 84 model with the 2l motor just wondering if anyone has suffered oil loss from the diff locater on top of the diff smashing the oil filter to pieces and if there is a shorter oil filter i can fit to stop it from bloody messing up the drivway

I bet you have a 2wd motor in there. Does the filter screw on from the side or bottom?

You need to get the oil cooler housing off a 4wd that has the oil filter that screws on from the side. Has your sump got a flat bottom or kinda pointy?

This is what I had to do. Easy enough job. Hard part was chasing up the gasket for it.

Either that or get a remote filter kit. But then thats more to bugger up.
