'99 mazda b2600 A/C wiring

Post by 1600dave »

Hi guys,
Just thought i'd ask here as someone may have a 4x4 b2600/bravo.
firstly, i have tried finding courier/bravo/b2600 wiring diagrams/manuals, but cant find anything! if anyone has anything, i'd love it.

the problem is, my a/c compressor wont come on! not getting any power to the positive wire that tells it to do its thing.
fuse is fine.
there is a 4 pin connector in engine bay. wire colours are
green/red - comes from fuse box
red/black - dont know where this comes from
green/brown - dont know where this comes from
green/black - goes to a/c compressor

if i just from the fuse box wire to the a/c compressor, it starts going, so i know it does work!

with the car running and the a/c and fan either on or off, the fuse wire has power, and so does the green/brown.

the a/c switch inside the car has 3 blue wires going to it. the light comes on when i turn it on, but i cant get to it to see if its putting out a signal. i'd assume so.

problem is i dont know where these wires are going to. another relay or something, somewhere i'd assume. i cant find anything though.

and its damn hot!

any idea's?

thanks,
Dave

There should be a switch somewhere which detects gas pressure in the system. No gas, no compressor.

Sounds to me like you're out of gas.
