Fuel starvation 80 series 1hz
Ok here are the symptoms 80 series cruiser with a 1hz. Motor takes a long time to crank over and start. Have replaced the fuel lines under the bonnet and swapped over the fuel filter head for a known good one. Blown out the fuel lines and there is fuel in the tank. Its not the injector pump as it runs sweet as a nut when fuel is put up to it.
It sounds like there is either a heap of crap floating in the tanks or a leak in the fuel like somewhere sucking in air.
Anyone got any idea what may be the problem

May have leaking injectors letting line pressure after the pump bleed into cylinders. No visual signs of a leak but you have to get air out before engine will fire. Next time it wont start put your foot flat on the gas and crank it over until it fires. This is the best way to bleed the system without cracking lines.
