Can someone please tell me what auto gearbox is in the 3.0TD Surf.

it will either be a A340F or a A340H

likely the first one. there is a plate on the side of the case that will tell you, drivers side, near the shifter linkage

Mine has an A343F but is the 2.4TD (2LT-E).
I would think the 3.0 (1KZ-TE) would run the same as the early Playdo (90 series ??), tho not sure what that is.

EDIT: Just did some checking, the Surf KZN130's (93-95) ran the A343F as well.
91' Hilux Surf with the usual mods & a few different ones ....

I searched it on the EPC.

Just checked the 2000 model Playdo 95 series, it runs an A343F too.
