hey yeah ive tried to have a bit of a search but couldnt get the right answers. so heres the problem.
its my gf's 92 auto vitara carby model and in the morning it starts but then sometimes stops when the accelerator is pressed but will start again straight away, you have to give it a few good revs before putting it into gear otherwise it will stop under pressure.
it sounds like it is missing a beat when you rev it like it is fighting its self but then after a few good revs its smooth.
also sometimes when driving, coming to round abouts it almost stalls when taking off and doesnt seem to change gear at the right time.
i have a decent amount of mechanical knowledge and to me this seems to sound like carby problem or an auto choke problem what do yous think is the specific cause?
there also isnt any smoke, no signs of oil or water mixing, will do a compression test soon.
thanks
