Body Lift Engineering and insurance Requirements
Hey all. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is required as far as legal requirements and engineering certificates when fitting body blocks. I live in brisbane. So do i have to get 2 inch blocks engineered and if so where can i get it done?
Re: Body Lift Engineering and insurance Requirements
speak with an engineer.
In QLD 50mm is all you are allowed in body lift height without engineering cert. you go to the RTA and they give you a form. You detail all the information about what type of blocks, bolts, nuts etc... they then approve it or not. Then as your lift is now not a road worthy issue ( if done corretly) insurance should not be a problem. Somebody correct me if I am on the wrong path but this is the way I read it when I was looking at a BL for my truck.
