In QLD 50mm is all you are allowed in body lift height without engineering cert. you go to the RTA and they give you a form. You detail all the information about what type of blocks, bolts, nuts etc... they then approve it or not. Then as your lift is now not a road worthy issue ( if done corretly) insurance should not be a problem. Somebody correct me if I am on the wrong path but this is the way I read it when I was looking at a BL for my truck.

QLD Transport allows for a 2" body lift and a 2" suspension lift, no engineering required.....

2" body as long as it is approved by qld transport. suspension is 1/3 of the stock wheel travel in one direction either up or down.
