rear wheel cut...

hi everybody...
i cut all of my gaurds few months back so as to fit 35's under a 2'' lift...
however im not sure what to do about the front half of the rear gaurd... (where the plastic lines the gaurd)
if your not familiar with the ''bushwacker'' rubber flares they require a tab of steel in which to be screwed to..

i cant cut the plastic and bend the steel into a tab whilst keeping it all nice and tight and looking great...

just wondering if anybody understands what im talking about...? any solutions or am i stuck with it?... its not tooo bad, but tyres can rub under extreme flex

or you couls screwor weld a angle shaped peice of shit behind the plastic and attach the flare to that. Or get side mount flare

yeah...
peice of angle welded to the cut guard with the plastic glued to that should work fine!

If you have a 2" body lift as well it should not hit there anyways with 35's

im runnen two inch ironman suspension with 30 mill packers in the rear. (not the front cos ive only got alloy bullbar) so its more a 3''
