60 rear wheel noise

Post by sonny »

hi my 60 series started to make a noise in the drivers side rear wheel today.i know its hard to say what it is but it sounds like a rear wheel bearing type noise which is quite loud but the strange part is its only noisy when you back off and when you put the clutch in it can hardly be heard?very stange and its like nothing i have had happen before.i did get in the passengers side rear seat oand opened the door when it was moving and im pretty sure its the drivers side rear wheel and not the passengers side or the diff centre.
does it sound like a wheel bearing/is it common for them to go and how hard is it to change the rear wheel bearings and is it a quick fix or like a 4 hour job?thanks for any info.
