60 series fuel adjust for turbo

Hi guys, I have recently put a 12ht turbo on my 2h, and i am unsure of how to wind up the fuel i have found the fuel adjust screw but can't turn it without flogging out the tread or screw head. can anyone give any advise? ie a locknut or something i have missed?

there is a lock nut its the round bit around the fuel screw

When you say "put a 12-HT turbo on on my 2H........" do you mean just the turbo, or have you put a complete 12HT into your cruiser?

if it is only the turbo, the fuel adjustment is different on a 2H to the 12HT.....

Hi I just put the turbo from a 12ht onto a 2H.

generally you screw it in half to three quarters a turn as a rough guide.

A lot of pumps have a 12mm locknut and a nice shiny collar around the thread which is usually lightly spot welded to to adjusment screw. There is a join in this and with some careful and sometimes slightly heavy persuasion you can get a tiny screw driver and wedge it in the join and prise the collar from the screw sorta unwrapping it from around it. Thats what was on mine and thats what I did.

Thanks guys got it with a chisel tiny tap and it free' ed up.
