G'day all.

Im in the process of doing up my 93 dual cab lux and just put a set of 33" BFG's on her. Im haveing trouble with them scraping the leaf pack and the drag link from lock to lock.

Ive been told that i can get my rims dished to get them hanging out a bit more to clear everything.

Does anyone know where in melbourne i could get this done and how much it would cost.

Thanx

You can do it your self if your got a welder, just cut the ring out and flip it over and reweld it further down that will give about 2" back space then get them balanced

I was just a little worried that i wouldn't get them straight enough.
Can balanceing take care of that?

Also i dont know if i would trust my poxy welding ability, i might have to find an old rim to have a go on before i attack the ones on the car.

You will have to get them straight first go,Balancing won`t straighten them it will even the weight up.
You got to clamp the rim down hard them clamp the ring down hard
and the welds don`t have to be great just good enough.

Ok. Sounds like i'll give it a go.

One more question, If i cut and turn the ring around the valve will be on the inside of the rim. do i just need to drill a new valve hole and weld over the old one???

Yep,and also remember that it is illegal to modify a rim in anyway even if its for a second hole for secondairs
