hey guys i have a 2000 D2 with ACE, the rear bags have failed ( we believe it is the compressor) thinking of converting it to coil rear end. Does anyone know of company which does a kit here in aussie ?

The Landrover Mob in Cairns (qld) do some work in this area. I think they supply parts that convert air bags to manual inflation system. I am currently in SA so I do not have any more details for them than that.

MR Automotive in Brissy may also be a source of advice. It is also possible to replace the air compressor and solinoids with aftermarket parts if you technically inclinded.....

Try Les Richmond Automotive in Thomastown hes pretty good if he doesent have it he will find it or atlest know someone that does....

Or Rangie 4x4 salvage Lillydale they both do disco stuff not sure to what extent though....

Thanks guys i decided on the brit part kit cost $420 took me about 2 hours to fit just need to reset the computer for the coil now but pretty happy with the end product. Turned out to be a faulty compressor.

Mine seems more stable with spring conversion. However I think it needs some stiffer shocks.

The D2 responds well to stiff rear shocks.

give British off road a call on 07 5445 1094 they are on the sunshine coast and will have all the parts in that you require (you just need springs and spring plates) and they ship Australia wide on a daily basis
