mod plates for extra cab conversion(qld )

does anyone know of a reputable business/company/person that does mod plates for extra cab conversions in queensland ???
ive rang alot of places and most will do the job,and only approve their work
various inspections dont bother me just dont want to get to the finished product and be told "no can do"
PS i dont want to here about someones cousins brother sister nephews brother who does them
names and contact numbers preffered
and preferably someone who KNOWS wat their on about

mate try some of the truck places who do mod plates in your area .. they can do it as a cab modification(like when they put a sleeper cab on) its a grey area but as most fourbys have a chassis it can be done.. just been talking to the bloke who does my mod plates(engine etc) and he said he cant as there isnt a code for light vehicles as such but there is for heavy.. doing a twin cab cut ls1 powered patrol myself so hope the info helps
