Noobie VX questions

Post by KIWI »

Hi all,
I've had a quick look, and can't find anything in the bible etc, so hoping someone may be able to help.

I've just bought a 1990 VX Jap Import, and it runs a part time 4wd setup, with push button Hi range 4wd, or transfer low range.
It also runs a different steering dampner, and the shocks are pin/eye on the front.

Is it likely that the diffs are still the same as later model 80 series, or could they possibly be the lighter cruiser coils sprung diffs from Prado's? (Bundera?)

Been a Nissan owner for a number of years, so trying to get my head round dealing with something unfamiliar.

Cheers,
Dave
