just a quick question
i just bout finished wiring up my big spotties and in the loom there is 3 earth points
to save me buggering around drilling heaps of earth points can i just earth all 3 of the leads to the one point???

yes as long the earthing point is steel or iron (chassis)
stay away from aluminium.
you can also join the 3 cables to one larger one and run it back to the neg. terminal on the battery. that would help against voltage drop.

Depending on how big the wires are you could just get a yellow eye crimp terminal and terminate all the wires into the one terminal (if you need to make the wire longer get one of the yellow joiner crimps and do the same with some heavy duty cable in the other side to make up the extra length).

I ran my spotty earths back to the same bolt that the battery negative bolts onto the chassis with.

Try and use one of the proper ratchet crimpers - the plier type ones are dodgey as and don't give a good connection!

ive just mounted them all to the inside of the guards where a screw was hangin out
is this ok
they are big narva spottis u know the bull lamp ones
is it better to run to -ve side of battery being such a large light
