thinking in the future to do a GEN III LS1 conversion mated up to the factory auto and transfer.
I've heard that the auto is plenty strong for towing big items and the diff's in the NM pajero are Huge !!
it just uses way too much fuel and goes nowhere so I'm thinking an engine conversion may be the answer
Do these auto's run there own standalone ecu or are they apart of the engine's ecu.
How integrated is the engine's ecu to the rest of the car will i have major problems with items like canbus and other gremlins that don't make engine conversions easy.
