Gear or belt timing?

Post by ISUZUROVER »

Am I correct that all OZ jackaroos and rodeos with a 2.8L (4JB1T) have timing gears??? Whereas all/most imports - e.g. MUs etc, have a timing belt?

Also, if anyone has any leads on a cheap 4JB1T... (preferably in WA)...
