Just a quick one on da plate on the fire wall what numbers mean what when it comes to diff ratios. On a GQ patrol wagon 89 model
Blown ls1 GQ winch truck. and GU tow car / daily

plate on drivers side,
HG41 = 4.1:1
HG39 = 3.9:1 etc etc

hay big lux,

I had a Maverick 1990 model 4.2L Dual Fuel Manual with 35's and mine turned them over just fine, in fact it turned them over better than a mates 4.5GU, he couldn't keep up with me on the Freeway up hills in the same gear
