Replacement Bucket seats for front of Troop Carrier

Post by TroopiePete »

Looking at changing the front Passenger seat from a bench twin seat to a single bucket type, still need to be able to tilt forward so you can get in the back, if changing the passenger seat for a different type then I want the Drivers seat to match.

So do you guys have any ideas on what type to use and even better is someone preferably not to far from Brisbane has some I could purchase.

Also any hints or tricks to doing the surgery..
Oh I realise it will have to be Plated as I will be changing the seating capacity.

Also looking at changing the middle seat to one that will fully fold down flat so I can put a bed over the top, possibly out of a passenger van.

i used vx commodore seats in my old mans troopie and unbolted the commodore runners and used some 6mm flat bar across from one side of the seat to the other and bolted the cruiser runners to that so it all bolts to the original mounting bolts in the floor and the passenger side has captive nuts in the floor already to suit the width of the single bucket seat you just have to drill in the right place to find it i can give you the measurements to find the nut but ill have to go over and get it from my old mans place
