will a landcruiser ct26 turbo fit onto the ct20 manfault. my ct20 turbo is stuffed and i want to put a little bit bigger turbo on as i can get a ct26 cheaper than a ct20. cheers David

no. it wont just bolt up.

make sure its a ct26 off a diesel as i dont know how low they spool up when they come off a petrol engine like supras etc.

wouldnt a ct26 spool up to late on a lux even if it is off a diesel?

The supra ct26 rear exhaust housing is smaller than the l/c ct26 exhaust housing, so it would spool up earlier. IMO nissan t28's or even t25's are a good replacment and real cheap second hand, if you were going to go to the trouble of adapling

have you had them both side by side??

The CT26 off a Supra 7MGTE has a quite a bit larger exhaust housing than the Landcruiser CT26.

I just did a search, there is many variants of the ct26, even just on supras. I have only delt with later model stuff, which yes the exhaust housing is smaller. But for the 7m you would be right. Sorry I overlooked that motor.
