1992 Vitara Estate Towing Capacity

Can anyone confirm the towing capacity for a 1992 Vitara Estate 4 door manual. I think it is 500kg un-braked and 1200kg braked just want to confirm.

Correct! Yet Hayman Reese only do a towbar with a max towing capacity of 1000kgs. Go figure :?

If the chassis and mounting points are as flimsy as on the soft top I owned I can see why!
