seatbelts in a 2dr rangie

Post by Ye Olde Rangie »

Hi al, im building a 1981 2dr toy and was intrigued into how people run seatbelts in the front with different seats. Ihave 1997 disco interior inc. driver and passenger seats also a roll cage so is it easier to bolt to the cage or is this frowned upon?
1981 range rover- 4"coil + 2"body rollcage, disco interior and goes better than a pootrol

Be careful with this mod, the seats in a 2 door rangie are part of the integral roll system. They are the strongest and heaviest part of the car for a reason, you didnt think all that glass and pissy little pillars were going to save you in a roll over did you? Definatly fit the cage.

I did a sports seat conversion on mine years ago (caged of course), plates were welded into the 'B' pillers for the top mount and the regulators. Plates were also mounted under the floor for the buckle mounts.
