IRONMAN LED 12v light
Hey has anyone used one of the ironman led lights?

I've got a cabled one (versalite) from a group buy off here but now I want a cordless one too. IMO they are fantastic bits of kit and Aussie made too, only I dont know if I can justify the price of the cordless model:bogged wrote:yea knew a few people with them, they put out excellent light. I like the cordless on em. Id have one if I didnt have 4 versalites.

The narva lights are the business. Bought 10 of them for the workshop, they all got lost before they broke. Considering the crap quality of most lead lights that says a lot.
There are some cheaper copies that we've tried since then. They've all broken before they got lost.
Narva do have a small one now that puts out near the amount of light that the big one does.
Well I'm guessing that they didn't think everyone would carry on like a big bunch of sooky girls over it like they have........
Company is BurnBrite. They make the Versalite and from my understanding other companies re brand them.bogged wrote: theres a place (mentioned in another thread while back) at Scoresby that is the importer of Versalites.. They will sell to public even as single deal.. well they did when I called em
Excellent customer service, taken a few lights back that where not working (not all mine) and they fixed them FOC.
from the ones I have used the hook does rotate its on a ratchet type system it almost feels like ur braking it but it stops it rotating when u hook it up only bad thing I have found with the narva it tends to drop leds and rows of the without using it too much there was a black copy that I found to be better and it was cheaper but haven't seen them in a while

i have 1 of the smaller ones and they are also great. Just check the recharge time if using it alot when camping. Out of memory the big one took twice as long as the smaller one to recharge, sierrajim wrote:The narva lights are the business. Bought 10 of them for the workshop, they all got lost before they broke. Last boss unknowingly sponsored me with a 2nd one. we used these exclusively for a long weekend camping and the pair of them lit the camp up when clipped on to poles, tents, etc very nicely indeed.
