94 DX 80 series speedo not working
My old mans speedo stopped the other week and looking under it to look for a loose speedo cable it looks like its only a wire sender or something in his where my 92 GXL has a cable. Anyone had there's stop on em? He just got back from WA goin through the Kimberly and shitty corrugations so i'm guessing its rattled off.
wouldn't be the first time one went out.
disconnect the cable from the sender and attach an ohm meter to it. jack up a wheel and turn it in a forward direction. you should see a change in the readout if the sender is working.
Otherwise start looking for broken wires.

The worst part about being told you have Alzheimer's, is that it doesn't just happen once.
