AORC RND 4 - PINES ENDURO 400

Post by digsy »

Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro 400
Australian Offroad Racing Championship Round 4

Teagle Quarry, Millicent, SA
03 September, 2010

The Pines enduro is one of the best stops of the 5 round AORC.
With it's perfect flowing tracks, combining tight racing with open forestry speed! It is a excellent oppurtunity to watch the likes of Brad Gallard really using the big Class 4 rigs to their full capabilities!

There is also the Dash for Cash in the Teagle Quarry that pits class's together in front of the hungry crowd! It is a sure fire melting pot for excitement and mayhem! There will be a target on Western's truck as he slipped past the other Class 4 competitors in last years dash for a mild upset win! No doubt Bowman again will have his eye on the prize trying galantly to un-nerve and un-crown the seemingly invincable Hunter from the always competitive class 8 crown! Also our very own Rob Chapman of QLD fame will no doubt be competitive and in the mix...

and there's no need to tell you that at RND 4 the points are starting to really count! There will be focused committed drives from everyone at the pointy end of their classes.... and no doubt some super keen locals that will be aiming to knock the big guns of the posts for an underdog win!
It will be a great spectacle and the noise and smell of turbo six's vs big V8s would be enough to make any petrol head find their way to Millicent in early september!

If Hunter have their new truck by then they will be a force to be recconed with. They are having a 4x4 class one built in the US. I heard they intend to put a shell on it and race class 8?

There are links to it in the shannon campbell class one build on pirate.

Hey hey!
There is heaps of talk about this race this year, including the introduction of Hunters highly anticipated "Dodge Ram"!! It's gonna be crazy and has no doubt caused a lot of chatter in the class 8 ranks!
The Dash for Cash should be interesting as always and a small crew from CQ are currently looking at options for the trip to SA!

If your local (Melbourne/Adelaide) you'd be mad to miss some high speed, flat out Offroad weaponry in flight!
It's gonna be great!!! No dust!!
