master cylinder repair kit

Post by rOd »

Howdy,

Can I find an aftermarket brake master cylinder repair kit from somewhere?

Genuine Nissan is $200 as quoted to me by bankstown nissan.

Reason being, my brake master cylinder on my petrol GQ has a slow leak since Ive owned it 12 months ago. Its begining to shyt me.

Any reputable brake and clutch repairer should have an aftermarket service seal kit for this.

As area54 said try a brake & clutch place. I got quoted $55 to get the my clutch cyclinder hoaned and re sleeved with a stainless sleeve. COuldn't imagine a brake cyclinder to be much more. As for the piston kit I would have thought they would have been cheaper than that as the clutch one is abot $50.
(Sparky it is getting fixed next week before you ask about mine)
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....
