opinions on Jungle trekker 2 tyres

Post by mellows40 »

G'day guys,

Has anyone out there got jungle trekker2's?
What do you think of them?
I'm about to buy my first set albeit second hand for use as an off road set not for daily road use...
I have heard they dig in deep on loose rocks and are best in mud.. having never used them before I'd realy like some opinions on the conditions where they work best and the type off terrain where they are not good...
Both sides good and bad. please
Thanks all...

I was very happy with mine. They do very well in mud and in my
opinion better in dry/loose/rocky terrain than the extreme Trekkers. They proved to be quite predictable albiet a little rough on road. Balanced well and appeared to bag better than extreme Trekkers. (unfortunately i never had a chance to directly compare on the same car)

having said that I believe a radial muddy will shit all over them everywhere except mud and puncture resistance.

well that all sounds good...
A mate of mine is selling me a set of 5 on rims for $600.. got about 70% tread left on them and the edges are still in good nick... so I'm bloody wrapped..

Are there any bad things I should know about.. other than they are ugly on road???
