i was out for a drive on the weekend got into a pretty big ditch the front axel got stoped by the brake line being at max lenght how much longer would be practical its a 86 hilux with a 2in spring &2in body lifts

You can buy extended brake lines through richard at 4x4 Engineering. He is somewhere on this board... somewhere. I put some of his on my hilux and they work fine, my brother also has them. They are about double the length of stock and are 44$ each from memory.

This has been covered before in this section, do a search for brakelines or extended etc.

If you have a hilux that you have spent $25000 on and someone else has spent $45000 on theirs, who's is better?? Spending good money on things like that quickly push up the total, therefore making your rig better! :wink:

damn, well im just going to go out and buy 12 extended brake lines and take them to pirtek to have them more extended, this will push my total up even more, along with chroming my rockwells!
hands and mums dont count!!!
