SD33t

Post by berazafi »

has anyone got a SD33t engine in there car that i could take a look at, mine has develpoped a strange problem of the fuel lever not returning to run even though the electric bit seems??? to be doing the right thing. I am in eastern victoria. I know its a bit of a strange request, alternatly could anyone video tape there electric motor and fuel pump starting as that would also help

Many thanks

Dave...I replied to your post on the Scout forum. I have the same truck but without the turbo. My injector pump is a Kiki.

Once key is turned on the controller moves to the start position. I think this is torwards the firewall. It holds that position maybe 5 seconds then it moves to the run position. Run is center position. If you got the truck running you can move the controller by hand, push it to off and it kills the motor, pushing it to start while running doesn't seem to do much. Not sure if any of that helps but if you got the same pump I can scan the pages from the manual and email them to you.
