MK auto hubs

Just after others experience... does anyone use the auto's still with say 35's and found any problems? I ask this because had years ago a LWB with auto hubs and used to play up quite regually and that was only with 31's. Or have we swapped over to AVM,etc?

I killed my auto-hubs even with the stock 31's and 245'km's on the odo. I changed to AVM's and other than regulary have to tighten the bolts there no probs since. Tyres are 255/85-16.

I had a detroit locker in the front & a arb in the bacl of my old MK. I had auto hubs as well & ran 33 inch tyres. Once we figured out how they work, serviced them I never had a problem, they worked brilliant. I tried pretty hard to break them & I couldn't do it. AVM are crap (sorry guys) We broke at least 3 sets before giving them the arse. This was about 3-4 years ago so maybe AVM's have improved from case hardened cheese!
