Guys,
My old man owns a 2001 model duel cab Hilux (abs model) and has just had the rear springs reset. The dude that did the work adjusted the proportining valve thingy at the rear to componsate for the adjusted height to keep the brakes working correctly. Problem is that now the rear brakes dont work at all and as a result has had issue with another car.
Question is; What is the easiest way to adjust this so that the car has correct stopping ability?
TIA

Normally just adj until fronts lock before rears. If rears lock car WILL spin.
The rears are important, that is why they are there.
Pretty common problem. The drums in the rear have self adjusters- pull the handbrake on and off a fair few times and this will tighten the shoes inside the drums, providing the adjusters are working properly.
