As I said on MSN, if this works for GQ, I will go with a group buy again see if we can get a deal...
Dude in my club is a tester for this thing, he is upto 1500 so far, AWILL knows more than I do, he was talkinto him about it the other day
I think they recommend the Modded High Flow Valve Body at ~800..

I'd be up for one too if the price was right. Are they difficult to fit?

Ok prices..
Lock-Up switch $190 not fitted
Temp Gauge Kit is $225 or $290 installed
Extreme Valve Body $795 Not Fitted or $995 fully fitted with
transmission service.
The 80 and 100 series need the Extreme Valve Body to make the
Lock-Up Manuel Control Unit to work in 1st and Revearse gears. The Nissans don't need thas but the A442F Toyota Transmissions

Re: Lock-up Controller...
Why do they cost so much??? Looks to me like nothing more than a switch, a relay and some wire...
Think I'll just find it myself...

I've got the full Workshop Service Manual for the GQ's..
The ETC unit ( transmission computer) is behind the kick panel in the passenger footwell.
As I said, I have to test it yet, but as far as I can tell, if you provide power to the wire that runs to your lock up soleniod, it will lock... regardless of what speed you are doing...
One question though to any of you who have GQ automatics...
When you take your foot off the accelerator at anything below 80km/h, does the gear stay engaged?... or do your revs drop back down to idle, and the car coast along in a kind of neutral? I want to make sure my auto is functioning properly before I try the lock up control.

yea if you take your foot of the accelerater at 80km's the revs drop down around idle (a bit higher)and after its in over drive the revs don't drop so much hoe this helps
