i blew my engine up the other day and just wondering what i should do which way would be the go either rebuild my engine from ground up or get a long engine and which way is the cheapest and who is a good diesel mechanic around the eastern suburbs if any info that would be a great help thanks juz

Depends on how badly blown up it is. You got nothing to lose, pull it out and pull it down, if you're lucky it might only be a few cracked rings, or a piston. Easy. If it's totally cactus, at least you'll know how to pull down a TD42 :)
Don't take life too seriously...it isn't permanent.
