Odyssey as Second Battery?

Odyssey as Second Battery?
Im just installing a dual battery system in my Rangie. Now it will only run my Fridge and my UHF. Maybe some lighting when camping. Im using a Redarc Smart solinoid and have a Odyssey battery i can use as the second battery. Will this be ok or is there a better set up? Will never have a winch fitted.

I don't have a redarc but know people who do and they are happy with them, What model oddessy? some don't have a very high amp hour capacity compared to even normal batteries so you won't get much run time from your fridge although they do recharge fast which is better than a deep cycle. More people I talk to a saying marine battery, can be discharged, will recharge fast and can be used with a winch or to start the engine should the main battery fail
Fitted one of the Redarc smart solinoids to the Jack on Sat morn at work. Been testing it for the last couple of days and it seems to work OK.
Thinking of fitting one of the Oddessy batts and a main crank batt. Something about the size of an N70ZZ (750-800 CCA) But don't know much about them....

What capacity is the odyssey? Just work out the total current drain for the appliances fitted over the term of the vehicle being stationary, add in a temperature variable, this will help with battery suitability. Odyssey's are good, but a 10 litre bucket is still a 10 litre bucket, no matter the brand.
Built, not bought.
