JACKAROO 3.0 ltr RELIABITY SINCE RECALL

Post by 300WinMag »

Has any one had any reliability issues since they have had the recall.

How many KM's have you done.

Also are there any power upgrade chips on the market for it.

Hi, most are ok, it all depends on how the tech does the recall ie how clean they work. The injector harness breaks clips, they just cable tie them back.

Pm or call me about a chip.

Thanks mate, haven't got a Jakaroo yet I am looking at getting one for the missus for those long distance trips, the patrol is like riding in a tractor for long trips, to much engine and turbo noise.

How much power does a chip get, RWHP ?

Can you do custom maps for them?

How much fuel pressure does this system use?

Does it work like a common rail system except hydraulic injectors?

Thanks for your replie Andrew Hobbs.
