suitable turbo for 2H

Post by pig in shit »

trying to do some research on turboing my 2h, have tried searching etc etc.
im sitting on the fence atm whether to boost or not to boost. i would like a turbo that will spool early, as most of you know with a 2h you only really get to about 3500 rpm. i'd like a turbo that started at around 1000rpm or even 500rpm as i have seen on a friends 2h, with a long range of boost if that makes any sense. i know garret make the 2876 and the 2860 and have seen them used on landcruiser motors. will these be suitable for what i want or is there another turbo that would be better for the situation??
