hey guys, just topped up the coolant in the radiator and the overflow bottle and i have no leaks anywhere but came back after a short run and about 2 hours and the overflow bottle nearlly empty??
have a little leak out the exhaust but dont know if its coolant. blows a little white smoke but then stops after about 2 mins.
stuffed water pump?
any clues???

Dip your oil...

Best case scenario, airpockets are being bled out.

Worst case, the water is in your oil or in your motor somewhere...
hands and mums dont count!!!

if your car's on gas it can be hard bleeding all the air pockets out with the position of the convertor. you need one of the containers mechanics use that fit to the top of your radiator to bleed out all the air bubbles

Trolley jack under the diff puts the radiator fill nice and high. I did this with the car running for 20mins at fast idle. LVL didn't change till I did a head gasket.
