so ive bought a rolling chassis to put under my leafy ute and about to start stripping everything down for the swap,
and i started wondering how hard it is to convert the diffs over.. there are some obvious advantages doin so, 4.3 diff centers and huge rear diff ect ect but also i was also thinking about stuff like the coil diffs are outer a 1989 and mines a 96, and i know that mine dont leak and the bearings and everything have been looked after, where as the 89 diffs could be stuffed... with a million ks on them

is this hard to do??

OR is there some place i can take them to get done for a good price???

ps ive got 2 front coil diffs, one with a caster plate welded on there
one rear coil diff and 2 leaf diffs still on the ute

It is a lot of work to convert both front and rear diff to coils. I would just throw the diffs in. Personally I dont think the big rear has any advantages over the rear H233. Parts are hard to get and expensive. They are big and bulky. The H233 is PLENTY strong enough.
