ive just bought a 04td prado and when going to kroombit tops on the weekend the brakes locked on after some heavy braking. just wondering if anyone has had this happen before and whats wrong with it?. i released the brakes by bleeding the brakelines where the abs is plugged into. it unlocked them but they are not working the best.. its goin in for a warranty job but cant get it there till next week

Re: prado brakes
Sounds like the adjuster on the brake pedal is not set correctly. Losen the lock nut and screw it in a few turns and lock back up. The length is too long and the master cylinder is not coming back all the way building up pressure each time ya press onthe brake.
Hope this makes sense.
