40 series rear window dimensions please??

Post by Stackson45 »

Hello - i'm after the measurements of the rear windows in the barn doors off an FJ40 hardtop - thinking of using them as side windows in a behind cab toolbox i'm building for my ute. Would someone with a 40 series hardtop mind measuring the window size for me when you have a sec??

Cheers
Rob

PS - if they're the right size the next question will be does anyone have any for sale? (in the correct section off course)

Mate that'd be great - if you could measure the overall dimension of the window and rubber, this will tell me how much panel i need to fit. The panel space i have in the box doors 400mm, so if the overall width is less than that they'll fit.
Cheers

have you considered cutting out a neat hole then pop riverting some thin perspex on the inside with some silicone as sealant?

cheap, wont break, drill out riverts to replace

just trying to think outside the box
