Mav gear box 'ticking'?!?!?!

G'day,
Just upgraded from a zook to Mav (90) and been doing a few bits & pieces to the car when I noticed an usual sound coming from the auto.
WIth the ignition on but engine off there's quite a loud 'ticking' sound coming from the tranny. It sounds almost like a solenoid opening & closing constantly.
Has anyone had this happen to them before? If so what was the fix & please don't say a tranny re-build! :shock:
