Yes, I will be getting in sunday 6/2/11 leaving saturday 18/11 providing I can get flights at the right price for those days.

Was thinking of buying a built 4 runner for the 2 weeks then resell?? need to look into the issues of buying a car.

Not sure but you may need an international licence. I actually have one from years ago (90's) when I was overseas. Didn't renew it though.

I can help you out on that. Aussie license is fine.

I learnt the hard way that California have an almost 10% sales tax when you change the rego over, plus a heap of fees, so there is a better way to do it. Let me know if you need help.

still to be confirmed.

Randy is building another car. He's hoping to have it done by October / November. If it tests well, he will run the last chance qualifer and we will go in the big race as a 2 car team.

I'm talking to a couple of possible co drivers. I will probably use 2 like I did this year, as I can only see the race getting longer. If Randy's car doesn't get done or he doesn't make the race, I'm sure he'll be one of those. It will probably be a local, as I want to get some experience in the car with them well before the race.

Once we get the race distance for the September Stampede race I will decide if I'm using two co drivers there, and will test one of the possibles out in advance for KOH. I think it really is a hard job, most people don't like being a passenger, and looking at the GPS all the time you get beaten around a lot more than the driver.
