g'day i was just wondering if anyone know which taper this insert is on the inside of the sleeve???
will it fit a hilux taper type ball joint in it or what? cheers ryan.

Seems to contradict itself.

They want you to put a taper reducing bush in your pitman arm so that a smaller tapered pin fits to allow for use of a larger balljoint.

How does this work, I put a 40 series rod end in my 60 series pitman arm and had to use the same type of insert, the 40 series rod end is smaller than the 60 series and has less articulation.

Sorry for the hijack, but I am intrigued.

looks like a reverse taper sleeve.

SImple as drilling hole in old taper, press fit new tapered sleeve and then run bigger tie rod ends the other way round.

would love to find some for my patrol
